Why students use WhizzNotes
Clear notes, made for your course
Chapters follow the NSW syllabuses and exam topic lists. Each one gives the short answer first, then builds from what you already know, so you can learn a topic on your own without getting lost.
Stories that make ideas stick
Every chapter opens with a short real-life story, then explains the idea step by step with examples, diagrams and a mind map.
Quizzes that show what you know
Each chapter ends with 10 to 15 questions, and every answer comes with an explanation. Every attempt is saved, so you can look back at it. Score 70% or more and the chapter is ticked as done.
HSC practice from real trial papers
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics Advanced and Extension 1 chapters have exam-style questions, written after studying hundreds of NSW school trial papers. Stuck? Open one hint at a time. Score 70% and you are HSC ready. Mathematics Advanced chapters also have Need more practice quizzes, from Hard to Very hard.
See how topics connect
After each quiz, Related chapters in other books links to chapters that cover the same ideas. Structure of the Atom in Physics leads to Inside the Atom in Chemistry, and Motion Graphs leads to the area under a curve in Mathematics Advanced. Seeing an idea from two sides helps it stick.
Work at your level
Choose Year 10, 11 or 12 and each chapter shows the extra work for your year. HSC practice and the selective exam book climb from Warm-up to Very hard.

What is HSC practice?
A page of harder, exam-style questions for a chapter, written after studying NSW school trial papers. Every question has step-by-step hints and a worked answer. The questions are new, never copied from a paper.
What are related chapters?
Links at the end of a chapter to chapters in other books that cover the same ideas, like the atom in Physics and in Chemistry, or speed in Physics and rates of change in Mathematics Advanced. They help you join up what you learn in different subjects.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. WhizzNotes works on phones, tablets and computers. You can install it from your browser so it opens like an app, and chapters you have opened work offline.
Who can see my scores?
You, and the parent or teacher who added you to their account, if one did. Your progress is saved to your own account, and signing out clears it from a shared computer.
I am a parent or teacher. Can I follow my students?
